Walresses

Hey I hope you guys liked my blog about beavers last week. I have dedicated my last paragraph to narwhals. so this is a pic of a Wallres.

A walrus is a large flabby marien animal. I am doing my blog on them for Ayse. You can now request for a animal for my blog if I havnt already done it. It might take awile but I will get to it. So back to the walrus. You can easaly reconise the walrus by its wiskery face with its tusks. The walrus's wiskers are not hair but speitial organs mauch like a cats whiskers.

The walrus tusks are not yoused to gather food but help the male in the quest fo dominance. They fight with them. The walrus is a massive animal. They have very thick skin to help keep them safe from all the tusk of the other males. The females have the calves away from their heard beacause if startled they will race for open water often crushing calevs in the prosses. Ouch.

Ok on to narwhals. They are realy iteresting and cute. Did you knoe that when broken narwal tusks are broken they do not grow back. The male narwhal's tust is actualy a long hollow tooth. adult narwhals are blueish grey but baby narwals are brown. Well thats it for my blogg. By!

Beavers

This week on Amy's request I am going to do Beavers. They are so cute and adorable.

Beavers way 30-60 lbs and are 2-3 feet long not including their tail. The Beavers front theeth never stop growing. They keep them short the Beaver constently eats bark and wood. They are experts in building dams and loges. Some people think that beavers are pests but Beaver dams help avoid erotion. Beavers can munipulate the land very much.

They are very skilled in under water work. Their body is built perfectly for life in the water. The beavers tail is like a rudder, thier front theeth stick out at the front of thier mouth so they can work under water with out swallowing water. The beavers nose and ears are spietialy desighned to close when they go under water.

So on this blog I said that I would talk about beavers but I want to add a spietial part about narwalls. This is to bring attention to all the narwalls in the world. The narwhal is also called the moon whale. The narwhal's enimies are the orca, shark, polar bear and walress. So I would like you to read  and comment. My new thing to do to help the narwhals is that Im going to have a paragraph about narwals every week!! Comment please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guppies

This week I going to blogg about guppies. And no not that stupid show bubble guppies!!!!!!!!!!! Hereis a picture of a guppie.

Its very a cute fish and relitily easy to take care of. They are very hardy and good fish. The aquarium needs to be roomy and the right temp, good filter, and food. The tank needs to be 2-10 gallon range. Big range right? The PH water needs to be at 7.0 to 7.4. Very complacated isint it? You can feed them Blood worms Tropical fish flaks brin shrimp and other stuff.

Your aquarium needs to have some sort of lighting. You should get a fillter so your fish wont live in dirty water. A simple box filter will work. A box filter fits in the corner of the tank. You need to buy a 50 whatt heater. You can buy most of this stuff at wallmart.

Now it comes down buying the fish. Yay!! so youneed to chose a good looking fish with out asy deforma ties. look out for little wite spots rotting fins Bubble eyes or any thing that maks it look diffrent in bad ways. It is probaly best that you keep the males and femals in a diffirent tank.

Guinea pigs!!!!!!!!

Guinea pigs are soooooo cute, I have one, his name is dusty! So this week I am going to blog about the wonderful Guinea pig. Here's a pic.

This is a Texal Guinea pig, that means they have curly hair. This is what my Piggy looks like, kinda. Just imagine a chunk of white hair on his neck. Guinea Pigs live about 7-9 years and my piggy is 5. He's old and cranky but he loves me! Another name for a Guinea pig is Cavy. In the wild the live in little herds and are VERY social. There ears are very sensitive to loud noises.

The gunea pig is a very social animal and prefer to live in small groups. If you get a guinea pig get at least two. If you are not up to takeing care of two piggies just get one and make sure to give it a lot of atention. For the cage make sure to get a solid bottem cage, no wire for they will heart the cavys feet.

The cavy is very eas to take care of. they are very hardy animals. They rarly get sick. You can feed your cavy fruit and vegitables they can't eat ice bearg lettace. It gives them a tummy ake. My piggy is very cute. He is black and white and has curly hair. He is so adorable and hates my mice. He bit one on the nose once!!

Platapi

This week I am going to do my blog on platypus's or is it Palatipi?                                        Well here is a pic of a platapus. Isnt he just so cute? There are no widly spred names for them. Platapus, Platypoda, Platypi Have all been used. They aret he only mammls that lay eggs. It is also venomas at least the males. The male Platypi have speciel Claws on its hind foot that are venomas. The Platupus stores fats in its tale.

The Platapus fur is water proof and has extra bones in its shoulder that other mammls lack. The Platapus is featued on the 20 cent coin from Australia. The name Platapus means broad foot in greek. Its fur is more dence than any other mamml. The sound that a platapus makes is simalar to a pupps growl.

otters!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week I'm going to blog about otters!!!!!!!! I have finally decided that my blog is going to be all about animals, so if you need a good source of info for a serten animal read my Blog! I know that you know what a otter looks like but I'm going to put it up anyway.

Isn't it just so cute? Otters are my favorite animal. Otters are really playful and smart. Otters can hold their breaths for about eight minuets. Di you know that otters are near sighted above water. Male old otters often have white fur. Did you know that otter pups are born blind an toothless.

River otters have special lenses that help them see under water. Many otters are are known to mate under water but mating on land is also known. Otters nose and eyes close when they go under water. Most otters eat fish shellfish clams mussels crabs turtles salamanders water fowl snakes frogs bugs and other things that live in water.

Otters mainly hunt at night. Otters have declined in population because of hunting and and habitat being cut down. so help save the otters and don't buy otter made objects. It would help the otters and make the people happy if nobody bought otter made products.

Humming birds

Humming birds are these small colorful birds that drink necter. did you know that there are 325 Humming bird spiechies in the world. cool right? After my blogg about Black Widows I decided to do some thing plesent. Hey most of you know what a humming bird looks like but I'm going to post it any way.






Did you know that the Praying Mantis is the Humming Birds natural predator. If you look up this on Google Images you will see that I am true. Aren't they just so cute? If you love humming birds please comment. The average humming bird weights three grams. The smallest humming bird I think is the Bee Humming bird. If you also look this up on Google you will see what I am talking about.

Most of the Humming birds weight is its mussels. Its mussels are responsible for its wonderful flight. the humming bird is the only bird that can fly backwards. The humming bird lays the smallest eggs. Did you know that the humming bird takes about 250 per minuet.

I know that its obvious but hummingbirds are the smallest bird in the world. Humming birds are better than humans. thay see better, hear better and and many other things. The humming birds favorite color is red. Did you know that the humming bird has hairs on there toung to help them lap up necter.

Black Widow Spider

So every body has heard of the black widow spider right? Well if you haven't it is black spider with a red hour glass on its abdomen like this:

Did you know that a black widow is more poisonous than a rattle snake. Eeeeekkkk!!! My mom is absolutely terrified of them and she has good reason. Black widows are known to be cannibals. the female will eat her mate some times. Once in a while my mom and I will go black widow hunting in the evening and we will find them in the cracks and crevasses in the brick wall. Black widows are nocturnal so evening is there favorite time. My mom's favorite weapons for hunting is either a flip flop or a can of spider spray. Black widow also have enemies too, the primantis is one that dines upon it and so do birds. Birds don't often pray on them because, the spiders poison gives them a tummy ache. Did you know that black widow venom is ten times more potent than the prairie rattle snake. Gulp!!!

If your wondering what the black widows web looks like it is a strong thick silk. I don't know if any of you have fed a spider or touched a spider web but it's soft and fragile. A black widows web is made of thick silk that is very strong. Strong enough to catch a big grasshopper. That brings up a story...One time I was out in my back yard which is black widow haven, and movement caught my eye. I looked down and saw a big fat grasshopper in a black widows web. I told mom and she killed it without letting me see it eat. Oh well...

My mom was looking at black widow symptoms which are that you can't feel and then head aches then death. gruesome right? The Spider bite of these beings feels like a pinprick. A person if bitten, experiences nausea, muscle ache and paralysis of the diaphragm which makes breathing difficult. In rare cases, bites can be fatal especially to small children or elderly people.The black widow generally eats mosquitoes, flies, beetles, caterpillars and grasshoppers. I know that this is really off topic but did you know that the primantis is the natural predator of the humming bird? Anyway, back to black widows. They are shy but when provoked they can bight fast.

I'm going to blog about gaming. I like gaming it is very fun. My favorite game is spore. Spore is a game were you create a creature and you start of as a cell like this.

Then you evolve into a creature then a tribe then a city and then SPACE!!!!!!!!!! In space you can go around and make friends or enemies. You can trade spice you gathered at your home planet or other planets with your kind on it. there is red,green,blue, and pink spice. Just watch out for the grox. The grox are these evil little creatures. The look like this.

It is almost imposable to befriend them. If you raise the terrascore of there planet it will instantly kill them putting you at war. The grox are realy hard to please and if you befreind them it is totaly not worth it. First of all if you befreind them the galexy will hate you and the grox will kill you any way. The grox wont like you for very long. On spore a started a trad route with my alies and they got mad at me because I took all there suplies. They ofered to sell their star systen to me so I need to save up money to buy it from then.

Has anybody goten the pet gagets? I know that lots of you have but they are so fun and time consuming. you know wats anouing? that so mny things are blocked on the computers. i mean that you some sweet picture or a cool web site and its blocked. do you know what I mean?

Redwall

Thak you sofwof for commenting on my tea. I don't like a lot of shuger in my tea. The book I'm reading is The pearls of Lutra. By Brian Jacques. The book is about a otter who is out to slay the vermin (Monitors,sea rats, stoats, ferrets and foxes)who slew her kin. At redwall abby Tansy the hegehog maid is looking for six pink pearls that the Vermin stole from the otters kin. How did they wind up at redwall abby you ask? a vermin stole them from his master and took the to redwall to hide them. He died of head wound made by one of his fellow mates. Redwallers took pity  and took him in. he hid the pearls and ran away to die. Now Tansy must follow the clues to find the pears. Hear is another song from my book I am obsesed with.

 Hey guys,

Do you like tea? I do, my favorite is Irish breakfast tea. If you let this brew for to long it will get very bitter. I’ve learned from experience. I like putting a drop of cream and sugar. Also with my tea I like cookies and a good book. My favorite book is Drawing Dragons By: Sandra Staple. I also like the redwall stories by Brian Jacques who has been laid down to rest. May the fates rest easy on him.

Starry the Dragon

Moon knew that she was different. She could go into paintings and see what life was like there, but during the war she was forced to leave her only friends [the ones in the paintings] in her old house. Moon had to go to her Aunt Maggie’s house far, far away from the war.

As Moon looked out the window of the train she saw a grand castle aside a large dragon statue. It reminded her of a dragon queen named Golden Scale…

“Miss, are you getting off at this stop?” A man said.

“Yes,” I said, realizing that I had drifted off to sleep.

            At the train station I got a call from my aunt saying she’d got caught up with some thing at home and would pick me up in an hour. I noticed a painting of King Henry the 8^th and decided to go into it. I reached out to touch it and-

“Stop where you are!” somebody yelled.
